LEGO’s Botanicals lineup got its June refresh on June 1, and the headline piece is 11505 Woodland Mushrooms: 806 pieces, $79.99, a mossy little display build of mushrooms and undergrowth that looks right at home next to a Bonsai Tree or an Orchid on a shelf. The same wave brought the theme’s first aquatic-plant set, a new direction for Botanicals and worth watching if you collect the whole line.
Reports out of the launch say Woodland Mushrooms sold briskly out of the gate, no surprise for a sub-$80 Botanicals set with strong shelf appeal.
Why it’s on my radar
Botanicals is one of the easiest themes to get into if you’re flipping on a budget. Low buy-in, steady demand from the plant and home-decor crowd (not just AFOLs), and it tends to sell through fast at retail before a wider restock catches up. If you’re building out a flip inventory and don’t want to tie up capital in a $650 Icons set, this is the other end of the spectrum: buy a handful now, list once the “sold out near me” chatter starts.
I haven’t had 11505 in hand yet, so no verdict score on this one. Treat it as a heads-up, not a review. If it’s still in stock near you, it’s a reasonable small pickup while it lasts.
