the design of this particular Yoda set. However, for investors, this set could still have potential. The reason being is that Yoda is such an iconic character in the Star Wars universe and there will always be collectors who want to add him to their collection. Plus, with this set retiring soon, the availability of it will decrease, potentially driving up the price on the secondary market. So, while I may not personally be a fan of this Yoda set, I can see why it might be a good investment opportunity.

Moving on, we have the 75299 Trouble on Tatooine set. This set features iconic Star Wars characters like The Mandalorian and the child, colloquially known as Baby Yoda. While the set itself may not be the most exciting in terms of build or play value, it’s the minifigures that make this set worth considering for investors. The Mandalorian has become an extremely popular character and having him in minifigure form can be highly sought after. As for the child, well, it’s Baby Yoda. Need I say more? Collectors will undoubtedly want to get their hands on these minifigures, making this set a potentially profitable investment.

Lastly, let’s talk about the 75308 R2-D2 set. This set is a must-have for any Star Wars fan, as R2-D2 is one of the most beloved droids in the galaxy. The build itself is intricate and detailed, capturing the essence of R2-D2 perfectly. As for investing, this set could hold its value well due to its popularity and the fact that R2-D2 is such an iconic character. Plus, with the set retiring, its availability will decrease, potentially driving up the price on the secondary market.

So there you have it, my thoughts on some of the retiring LEGO Star Wars sets for 2022. Whether you’re a collector or an investor, there are definitely some sets worth considering. Just remember, investing in LEGO can be a fun and potentially profitable venture, but it’s always important to do your research and keep an eye on the market. Happy building and investing, and may the bricks be with you!
