LEGO Sets That Will Double in Price Soon!

2022 Retiring LEGO Sets: Invest in these LEGO sets before they soar in price! from Youtuber- Deal Watch

LEGO Sets That Will Double in Price Soon! (2022 RETIRING LEGO SETS)

Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your bricks because the LEGO market is going absolutely bonkers right now! Prices are skyrocketing faster than a rocket ship, and us LEGO enthusiasts don’t want to be left behind on planet Earth. We want to ride those LEGO gains all the way to the moon! That’s why I’ve spent countless hours crunching numbers and doing research to find the LEGO sets that have the highest chance of doubling in price this year. And boy, do I have some juicy picks for you.

First on our list is the set 76903 Speed Champions Chevrolet Corvettes. This set is a total steal at just $30! Not only do you get over 500 pieces, but you also get two awesome cars. Normally, a single Speed Champions car sells for $20, but LEGO is raising the prices to $25. So, after the price hikes kick in, the intrinsic value of this set should be around $50. Plus, Speed Champion sets tend to do extremely well in retirement, so the value will only skyrocket from there.

Next up, we have set 40549 Demogorgon and Eleven from Stranger Things. Now, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Stranger Things is one of the most popular TV shows in the world. Combine that with the collectibility of Brickheadz, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for price explosion when this set retires. And let’s not forget, it’s a LEGO store exclusive, which always adds that extra allure.

Moving on, we have the 75277 Boba Fett Helmet. Now, this set is almost perfect in my book. The only thing missing is a Boba Fett minifigure, but we can’t have it all, can we? The LEGO Star Wars buildable helmets have been performing exceptionally well on the aftermarket, and it certainly helps that this set features such a popular character. And here’s a little insider tip – you can grab this set on Amazon for an 8% discount, even though it retails for $60. I predict this set will double in price sooner than you can say “Boba Fett.”

Now, brace yourself for the LEGO Clone Trooper Command Station, set 40558. This set is practically a guaranteed home run. Every time I check LEGO.com, it’s out of stock! And you know what that means? High demand, my friends. After this set retires, that demand will carry over into the aftermarket, boosting the price substantially. In fact, if you hop on eBay right now, you’ll see people selling it for double its retail price and it’s not even retired yet! Plus, being a LEGO store exclusive means there’s a limited supply, making it even more valuable.

Last but certainly not least, we have the holy grail of retiring sets – set 40552 Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Lightyear is an iconic character that has captured the hearts of both young and old for over two decades. Toy Story fans and casual LEGO enthusiasts will be more than willing to shell out some serious cash for this set. And with a price point of just $10, I wouldn’t be surprised if it fetches $20, $30, or even $40 and beyond! It’s Buzz freakin’ Lightyear, people!

Now, before you rush off to buy these sets, let me remind you that I’m just a funny and humorous guy on the internet, not a financial advisor. So, take my opinions with a grain of salt. Do your own due diligence and research before throwing all your LEGO investing dollars at these sets. But hey, if you’re looking for some exciting LEGO investments in 2022, these five sets are definitely worth considering!
