Now, I have to admit, I’ve never been much of a Duplo fan. I mean, who needs big, chunky bricks when you can have intricate sets with hundreds of tiny pieces that you accidentally step on in the middle of the night? But after doing some research for this video, I have to say, Duplo might just be the best-kept secret of LEGO reselling.
I mean, think about it. Duplo sets are typically cheaper than their regular LEGO counterparts, making them more accessible to a wider audience. And since they’re targeted towards younger kids, they’re often more focused on educational themes and child development. So not only are you investing in a LEGO set, but you’re also investing in a child’s learning and growth. Talk about a win-win!
And let’s not forget the animal sets. I mean, who doesn’t love cute little pony stables and dinosaur towers? Apparently, everyone does, because these sets with animals are consistently top sellers. I guess kids just can’t resist a set with a furry friend.
So, my fellow LEGO investors, don’t sleep on Duplo. It may not be the flashiest or trendiest theme, but it’s definitely one worth considering. Plus, it’ll give you an excuse to buy LEGO sets without feeling like you’re regressing to your childhood. Although, who am I kidding? LEGO is timeless.
