Why I Am A LEGO Investor

The Reasons behind My Decision to Invest in LEGO from Youtuber- Brick Bucks

Why I Am A LEGO Investor

Have you ever wondered why people invest in LEGO sets? Well, I never really thought about it until I attended a business conference in Orlando recently. The speakers at the event were truly inspiring and got me thinking about the reasons behind my own LEGO investing and e-commerce business.

You see, most of us start with the “what” – we buy LEGO sets and sell them when their values go up. But why do we do it? Why do we invest our time, money, and effort into this hobby?

I stumbled upon a book called “Start with Why,” which introduced a framework with three circles. The outer circle represents what we do – we invest in LEGO sets. The middle circle is how we do it – we sell on platforms like Amazon and eBay. But it’s the inner circle, the why, that often gets neglected.

I realized that even when I thought about my own motivations, my answers were quite superficial. Sure, LEGO investing is a great combination of e-commerce, investing, and fun. But why do I care about that combination? Why do I want to earn money? Why do I want to build wealth?

After some introspection, I came to the conclusion that the reason I am building a LEGO investing business and an e-commerce business is for one ultimate goal: Financial Freedom. I believe that achieving financial freedom will bring me inner peace and remove any money-related obstacles or struggles in my life.

Now, some may argue that money can’t buy happiness, and I agree. But it can certainly remove a lot of stress. And that’s what I’m looking for – a life free from financial worries.

But that’s not all. I also want to enjoy the journey. LEGO investing is not just about the end goal for me; it’s about having fun along the way. I love LEGO, I love e-commerce, and I love investing. Combining these three passions makes LEGO investing the most enjoyable way for me to make money.

Now, don’t get me wrong. This isn’t about materialistic desires like buying luxury items or driving fancy cars. When I think about building wealth, I think about being able to afford flights home to Ireland to see my family without stress. I think about my future kids going to college without worrying about student debt. I think about never having to worry about medical bills.

Coming from a small town in Ireland, entrepreneurship and investing were never encouraged. But when I moved to the United States, I discovered a whole new world where I could take control of my financial future. And that, for me, is freedom – the ability to live life on my own terms.

One of the speakers at the conference I attended aptly said, “Money can be a massive master.” If you don’t have money, it determines what you can do in life. I refuse to let money be my master. I want to take control and live life on my own terms.

Moreover, as a parent, I believe it’s essential to chase your dreams and reach your potential. Our children watch our every move and look up to us as role models. By investing in LEGO and building a thriving e-commerce business, I hope to inspire my kids to pursue their own dreams fearlessly.

So, why am I a LEGO investor? It’s not just about the money or the fun; it’s about achieving financial freedom, enjoying the journey, and being a role model for my children. LEGO investing allows me to take control of my financial future and live the life I’ve always dreamed of.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some LEGO sets to buy and sell. It’s time to enjoy the journey and build my way to financial freedom, one brick at a time!
