Title: Every Retiring LEGO Star Wars Set in 2023

Transcript:
Hey there, LEGO enthusiasts! Today, we’re diving into the exciting world of LEGO Star Wars sets that are scheduled to retire in 2023. We’ll take a closer look at each set and determine whether they hold potential for investment. So, buckle up and let’s explore!

Set 75257 Millennium Falcon: Now, don’t get me wrong, this set has a couple of great exclusive minifigures, but other than that, it’s just another Millennium Falcon playset. With so many versions already out there, I don’t foresee the price of this set skyrocketing in retirement. So, it’s a bit of a meh for me.

Set 75288 AT-AT Walker: If you’re on a tight budget and can’t afford the UCS AT-AT, this one is a decent alternative. However, don’t expect it to generate insane profits. It’s a pass for me.

Set 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina: Now, this is where things get interesting. Packed with exclusive alien minifigures that are already selling for a hefty sum in the aftermarket, this set has the potential to significantly increase in value during retirement. The build is fantastic, and the abundance of exclusives adds to its investment appeal.

Set 75292 Razor Crest: Personally, this set didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The build is solid, but the minifigure selection falls flat. There’s nothing special or exclusive about them, so they belong in the trash. However, if you’re a fan, go ahead and indulge, but it’s just not my cup of tea.

Set 75300 Imperial TIE Fighter: The build is average, and so is the minifigure selection. Frankly, I’m tired of talking about this set. Let’s move on swiftly.

Set 75301 Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter: I must say, I prefer this set over the Imperial TIE Fighter. The build works for me, but unfortunately, the lackluster minifigure selection makes it less likely to explode in price during retirement.

Set 75304 Darth Vader Helmet: Despite the hate it receives for its not-so-smooth helmet, I’m a big fan of this set. Darth Vader is an iconic character and the face of Star Wars, so collectors will definitely flock to grab this one. There’s a good chance it will increase significantly in value after retirement.

Set 75307 R2D2: Now, this set didn’t perform well during its previous retirement in 2012, and I have my doubts this time around. The minifigure selection is a complete joke, so it’s a hard pass for me.

Set 75309 UCS Republic Gunship: The build of this set is honestly perfect, but Lego dropped the ball in the minifigure department. However, I still believe this set will be a solid performer in the aftermarket once it retires.

Set 75312 Boba Fett’s Starship: While this Slave I set might not match up to its predecessors, anything associated with Lego Boba Fett is almost guaranteed to skyrocket in price during retirement. Keep an eye on this one. (Psst, it’s currently discounted on Amazon!)

Set 75313 UCS AT-AT: Prepare for a colossal set, clocking in at over 6,000 pieces. As one of the best UCS Star Wars sets ever made, demand will remain sky-high even after retirement. This beast is definitely one to watch out for.

Set 75317 Mandalorian and the Child: Despite not being Lego store exclusive and being on shelves for quite a while, this set has been heavily discounted everywhere. My initial investment hopes were dashed, unfortunately.

Set 75318 The Child: I don’t have strong feelings about this set, to be honest. It’s just okay.

Set 75320 Snow Trooper Battle Pack: Battle Packs usually boast great returns in the aftermarket, and this one is no exception. Plus, it’s a perfect army builder pack that will be in high demand. Grab a few for your collection!

Set 75322 Porg: A solid set with a few exclusive minifigures, which is always a nice addition. As for its performance in the secondary market, only time will tell.

Set 75324 Dark Trooper Attack: Overall, a pretty cool set. However, the current pricing on Amazon is just not cool at all. Maybe wait for a better deal.

Set 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room: Spectacular minifigs grace this set, except for Boba Fett himself. The build is not anything extraordinary, especially compared to the 2013 Jabba’s Palace set. If this set gains value in retirement, it’ll most likely be due to its minifigures rather than its build.

Set 75327 Luke Skywalker’s Helmet: Out of the entire LEGO Star Wars helmet collection, this one falls a bit short. Not to say it’ll do terribly in retirement, but there are definitely other Star Wars helmets I’d invest in first.

Set 75328 Mandalorian Helmet: It’s a tad overpriced, but it might still hold potential as an investment if you manage to snag it at the right price.

Set 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama: Personally, I’m not a big fan of this set. It lacks minifigures, and the price feels inflated even for a LEGO Star Wars set. Surprisingly, it’s discounted almost everywhere else. Proceed with caution.

Set 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama: Now, this is my personal favorite diorama set. It offers three minifigures, including two exclusives, and the build is close to perfection. It’s also fairly priced and currently on discount. I have high hopes for its performance in retirement.

Set 75332 AT-ST: Sadly, this is the most overpriced LEGO Star Wars set currently on shelves. I’m begging you, don’t buy it.

Set 75342 Republic Fighter Tank: Now we’re talking! I’m in love with this set. It features exclusive Clone Troopers that will surely increase in value, along with an exclusive Mace Windu minifigure and two battle droids. The build is fantastic. I’m confident this set will make a ton of money in retirement.

Set 75343 Dark Trooper Helmet: Personally, I’m not a fan of the build nor the investment potential of this set. It’s a pass for me.

And that’s a wrap, folks! If you want to know about the five LEGO sets I believe will skyrocket in price soon, be sure to check out our YouTube video. Remember, these retirement dates can be a bit unpredictable, so keep an eye out for any changes. Happy LEGO investing!
