Exclusive LEGO Sets & Clearance Shopping At Walmart!!
Hey party people! Good morning, we just got to Walmart in Austin, Texas to do some Lego shopping. This Walmart always has the best clearance, this is where I always come to check out their clearance section. But also, if you didn’t know already, there are certain Lego sets that are exclusive to Walmart, so we’re gonna go see what that’s about as well. So, let’s go ahead in because it is hot in Texas. It’s actually not as hot as it was for a while, it’s like 95, so it feels like fall. It’s finally under 100. I’m so excited for this video, y’all. We made it in Wally world, it’s so spooky in here. This is so fun, they have all the Halloween stuff up already. We’ll have to check all of that out later because we’re heading back to the Lego aisle.
Hey, oh, there’s hail here. We’ve already started decorating for Halloween, we bought a bunch of stuff, it’s gonna look so cute. But we definitely still need some more because it’s fun. I think Halloween’s my favorite holiday.
We made it to the Lego aisle, let’s check it out. I love coming to this Walmart because the Lego aisle is just huge. Plus, like I said, there’s so much clearance all the time, all the rollbacks. They’re also fully stocked right now, which is really fun. So obviously today, we’re going to be checking out whatever’s on clearance, the exclusive sets at Walmart. But also because we’ve been traveling so much this summer, I think we went to like five different Lego conventions, I am not going to leave my house all October. I’m just gonna stay home and work on a Lego City, and a big part of that’s going to be mock building.
My mom actually came recently and helped me organize my entire Lego collection, so I actually know where all of my different pieces are now. It’s incredible and it makes it way easier to build mocks knowing where pieces are, who knew? And this is so hard y’all, there’s so many sets here that I want to pick up. Like this Creator set, look how fun this is. The roller coaster goes through, but it’s like space, you know? And then there’s even little baby Benny down here, he is the cutest. I would love to have something like this in the Lego City, but I’m just not sure how it would fit in. Even the other two versions of it, but it looks so good.
And the little birdie is that a baby in there? I’ve never noticed that before, that is so cute. They’re just, they’re eating their seeds or whatever. A little squirrel. And whenever I see this one here, I just get so happy. This is probably one of my favorite sets of the year, the Botanical Garden. I have two copies of it already and I kind of modified both of them to make it into one big set for the city. As you can see, the whole backside of it, there is open but I still need to finish some things, work on a pathway. I don’t know y’all, I’m just feeling really motivated to get back in the city.
Oh and this is another one that I really want to get but I think it came out while I was out of town. I think it was like August 1st maybe? And I was not home, I was in Virginia for Brickfair. I think this would be really fun because I’m trying to build my Lego City at a smaller scale kind of, you know like this. And this set just has so many nice pieces, but it would also be a shame to take it apart and modify it because it is so cute. Like, look at the little music store, I could never destroy that.
And then I haven’t actually looked at Lego classic sets ever really because I didn’t have a Lego parts organization system. But now that I do, I’m like wow does this look so much fun. I would love to part this out and it’s only fifty dollars for 1800 pieces, that’s a really good deal. Wow, okay yeah, this is definitely a really good value at Walmart. We might pick that one up, we might come back to that. That’s a good deal. I recently learned that I love sorting Lego. I don’t know what it is but it’s so relaxing, and I just know I would have way too much fun with this. But I’d probably build a dragon first before sorting it out.
And it’s something I was kind of hoping to find here on clearance are these polybags. Like, they’re really cute and I feel like for Halloween, how fun it would be to kind of pass those out to trick-or-treaters. I’ve seen it become a trend recently with trading cards like giving those out to trick-or-treaters. We have a reputation on our street, I’ll hold, we always give out the good candy. Like the kids always come up and they’re like this house has good candy. And how much better would it be if we pass out Lego sets? That would be so fun. And we really want to get more flowers because I know I’ve mentioned it before but whenever we buy flowers, we give them away for like birthday presents or wedding gifts and stuff like that. So I don’t have any for me and I really want some.
Plus, when these came out I think it was like February, I forget. But I was like why would I need these? I don’t want them right now. But because it’s finally spooky season with Halloween and Thanksgiving around the corner, I think this would be perfect on our dining room table. I think that would be so cute. So, I want to get both of these for me. I’m not giving those away, those are mine.
A lot of you guys remember this, this is the OG Botanical set, the bonsai tree. And I haven’t really thought about it since it came out like almost three years ago. But I saw that they’re selling it here for forty dollars. I believe it actually retails for 50. So that’s already a good value and then I don’t know, it just got a lot of cool little brown pieces. I think chances are I’m gonna be walking out of here with three Botanical sets and I’m gonna be saving thirty dollars. But wow, yay flowers, yay flowers, more home decoration. I’m excited.
I feel like base plates for me are one of the most boring things to buy. Like you barely even see them, especially in the city. Like we’re always covering them up, so I just, I don’t know, it’s just something about it. I just don’t like buying them. But whenever I do find them on sale, especially like two dollars off, that’s pretty good. I try to stock up a little bit and especially since we’re out, we’ll probably be picking up. I don’t know how many we need so I’m just gonna grab two. You can never have too many base plates, get two more.
Anyways, sometimes at Walmart they’ll have Lego sets on the what is it called? The end cap, I think? I don’t know, like random places that aren’t like in the aisle. And they have this set again, this giant one for fifty dollars. That was actually 90 originally at retail price and I’m still thinking about it. I’ve just never bought myself a classic set but today might be today. 1800 pieces for fifty dollars is a really good deal.
