The LEGO Star Wars 75342 Republic Fighter Tank is a recreation of the Republic Fighter Tank, checking in at 262 pieces.
The design is just ok, but makes up for it with minifigures and has some nice playability with cockpit that opens, a rear hatch, a lookout, and 2 spring-loaded shooters.

April and May is a big time for Lego Star Wars with the latest video game that is now available and the Diorama sets. We also can’t forget that May 4th is around the corner.
Lego Investor Take On The LEGO Star Wars 75342 Republic Fighter Tank
My initial thoughts on this set are that it looks so similar to the previous Republic Tank that came out.
It would have be better to come out with a slightly larger set that balances the playability with detail. But, the Clone Wars seem to appeal to a younger audience so maybe it did not fit in with the Star Wars AFOLs.
It does make up for it with the minifigures of Mace Windu and some purple Troopers. Let that sink in for all of those MOC builders who want to assemble another massive trooper army.
