You might have missed the trailer for the NEW Buzz Lightyear movie that is coming out in June of this year. It was a real slap in the face in a good way to see some new Lego sets come from infinity and beyond.
The release date for all 3 Lego Disney Buzz Lightyear sets is April 24, 2022 and they are sure to be a hit for their biggest fans.
Two of the sets are geared for the younger Lego lovers while we also get the infamous Buzz Lightyear’s XL-15 ship with some cool minifigures.

LEGO Buzz Lightyear Sets Are Landing In April 2022
As a fan of the previous Toy Story movies, it is really neat to see the spinoff movie feature the beloved buzz Lightyear. The movie itself looks like it has a great cast to bring it to life.
LEGO did a great job of breathing life into some new Lego Buzz Lightyear sets. Let’s take a little look at the 3 sets coming out in April 2022.

The Buzz Lightyear Zyclops chase features Buzz Lightyear and the origin of his story. His minifigure comes with a space suit and helmet. The yellow robot mech is even posable.
The young Lego builders will really take a shine to this set after they watch this movie if they are just getting introduced to Toy Story. It is an easy build that will certainly bring some hours of joy.

The Buzz Lightyear Zurg Battle is a nice set for the little one who is older and loves Buzz. We are taken in on the scene where Buzz Lightyear and Izzy minifigures and Sox the cat to beat evil villain Zurg and reclaim the fuel cell.
It is certain to bring young fans to another dimension as they join their hero Buzz on his quest to bring order to the galaxy. To infinity and beyond!

The Buzz Lightyear XL-15 recreates Buzz’s ship that carries him across other galaxies. It comes with 3 LEGO minifigures, including Buzz Lightyear, a LEGO robot cat figure and some weapons.
The cockpit does open so kids can have Buzz fly the ship. A nice touch is a small plaque that has some details about buzz’s ship much like some of the Star Wars ship sets.
Investment Thoughts For The April 2022 Buzz Lightyear Releases
These sets are great for many children and even some adults fans. The previous Toy Story Lego sets are appreciating very well now.
However, I think the ship is bit too high, so I’d look to score these when they are discounted at retailers. The demand for Buzz Lightyear is huge and many new young fans will be introduced to his character and world. Plus Disney has the ride which already built many fans.
