Top 5 Retiring LEGO Sets for Investment in 2022 from Youtuber- Deal Watch

Title: Retiring LEGO Sets I’m Investing in Right NOW

Hey there, fellow LEGO enthusiasts! Today, I want to talk about five LEGO sets that are set to retire in 2022 and why I’m investing in them. As you know, our website focuses on tips for buying and reselling LEGO for a profit, so let’s dive right in!

1. LEGO Speed Champions Chevrolet Corvettes (76903): Out of all the LEGO sets currently on shelves, this set undoubtedly offers the best value. For just $30, you get a whopping 512 pieces, which boils down to a mere six cents per piece! Not only do you get two cars instead of one, but this set also belongs to the highly appreciating Speed Champions theme. Plus, these Corvettes look absolutely amazing. I’m already the proud owner of four sets and planning to grab more soon!

2. LEGO Architecture Skyline Tokyo (21051): LEGO Architecture sets of iconic cities like Chicago, Venice, Sydney, and Berlin have seen explosive price increases shortly after retirement. Tokyo, being the most populated city in the world, is equally, if not more, iconic. I expect the demand for this set to be sky-high once it retires. It’s a fantastic display piece that appeals not only to LEGO fans but also to anyone who appreciates artistry. I wouldn’t be surprised if the price of this set doubles in the near future. Definitely adding a few to my collection!

3. LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett Buildable Helmet (75277): Ah, Boba Fett, a name synonymous with skyrocketing prices in the LEGO Star Wars world. This impressive helmet is a must-have for any collector. Not only does it make for a great display piece, but it’s also part of the Star Wars helmet collection, making it highly collectible. Considering the past market performance of Boba Fett sets, I have a strong conviction that this set will double in price within a few years of retirement. It’s a sound investment, trust me!

4. LEGO Spider-Man versus Venom and Iron Venom (40454): This set features four great minifigures for only $15. The demand for minifigure packs in the aftermarket is like hotcakes, fetching a lot of money. Currently, this $15 set is selling for $10 above its retail price on eBay! The highlight of this set is the inclusion of two exclusive minifigures, Pork Grind and Iron Venom, in addition to Venom and Spider-Man. I’m planning to invest in ten of these sets because the market demand and potential for profit are just too good to pass up.

5. LEGO Brickheadz Buzz Lightyear (40552): LEGO Brickheadz sets have a reputation for printing money in retirement, and Buzz Lightyear, one of the most iconic and popular Disney characters, amplifies that demand. This set is something of a no-brainer investment. The demand and collectibility of Buzz Lightyear are unmatched compared to other LEGO Brickheadz sets. I have to restrain myself from going all out on this one, but mark my words, the price of this set will go to infinity and beyond!

Before you rush off to the store or online marketplaces, please remember to do your own due diligence and research before investing in any LEGO sets. My opinion, although hilarious, should be taken with a grain of salt.
