“Discover the Top 10 LEGO Sets of 2023 Ideal for Investing!” from Youtuber- Jake’s Bricks

Furious, and then we have the Speed Champions version. Now, the reason why I think these sets will do well for investing is because of their popularity and the fact that they are replicas of iconic cars. The Aston Martin DB5 is famous for its appearance in James Bond movies, while the 1970 Dodge Charger is an absolute classic from the Fast and Furious franchise.

Both of these sets have high collectible value due to their connection to popular culture. And since they were released in August of 2022, they are still relatively new and have a lot of potential for growth in value. Plus, they are both reasonably priced at $20, so they are more accessible for collectors and investors.

Moving on to spot number six, we have the 21056 Taj Mahal LEGO Architecture set. Now, this set is not necessarily retiring in 2023, but it’s still worth mentioning because it has been on the market for a few years and has already proven to be a valuable investment. The Taj Mahal is an iconic landmark, and LEGO Architecture sets are known for their appeal to adult collectors and enthusiasts.

This set in particular is a larger build, which adds to its overall value and desirability. It’s currently priced at $120 here in the US, and I would expect it to continue increasing in value as more time passes. So, if you’re looking for a LEGO set that has a track record of appreciation and can be a solid long-term investment, the Taj Mahal is definitely worth considering.

Next up, at spot number five, we have the 76087 Flying Fox: Batmobile Airlift Attack set from the DC Comics Super Heroes theme. Now, this set might not be the most obvious choice for investing, but hear me out. It includes a massive Batmobile that can fit multiple minifigures, and it has a unique and eye-catching design.

DC Comics and Batman have a huge fan base, and that translates to high demand for related LEGO sets. This set in particular stands out due to its size and impressive build. With a retail price of $130, it may seem like a large investment upfront, but the potential for future appreciation is significant.

Moving on to spot number four, we have the 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System LEGO set. Now, if you’re a fan of retro gaming, this set is an absolute must-have. It’s a replica of the iconic NES console, complete with a controller and a retro TV set.

LEGO has been partnering with brands like Nintendo to create sets that cater to fans of both LEGO and gaming. And this collaboration has been a huge success so far. The NES LEGO set was released in August of 2020 and quickly became a collector’s item. Its retail price of $230 might seem steep, but similar LEGO sets that tap into nostalgia, like the LEGO Ideas Ghostbusters Ecto-1, have shown tremendous growth in value over time.

Now, at spot number three, we have the 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport set from the Star Wars theme. This set features the Mandalorian’s iconic ship, the Razor Crest, along with several minifigures, including the Mandalorian himself, Grogu, and other bounty hunters.

The Mandalorian series has been a massive hit, and its popularity has translated to high demand for related merchandise, including LEGO sets. The Razor Crest is instantly recognizable and has become an iconic spaceship in the Star Wars universe. With a retail price of $130, this set has a reasonable buy-in, considering its potential for growth in value.

Moving on to spot number two, we have the 71741 Ninjago City Gardens set from the Ninjago theme. This set is part of the Ninjago City series, which has gained a cult following among LEGO enthusiasts. The Ninjago City Gardens set is a massive build that features intricate details and a highly immersive design.

LEGO Ninjago sets have a dedicated fan base, and the demand for them is consistently high. The Ninjago City Gardens set is priced at $300, which might seem like a significant investment. However, similar sets from the Ninjago City series, like Ninjago City and Ninjago Docks, have shown impressive growth in value over time.

And finally, at spot number one, we have the 10295 Porsche 911 LEGO Creator Expert set. Now, LEGO and cars have always been a winning combination for investors and collectors. The LEGO Creator Expert sets are known for their attention to detail and the fact that they cater to adult builders.

The Porsche 911 is an iconic sports car, and this LEGO set faithfully replicates its design and features. With a retail price of $150, it’s a relatively affordable investment considering the potential for growth in value. Similar LEGO car sets, like the Volkswagen Beetle and the Mini Cooper, have already proven to be valuable investments, and I would expect the Porsche 911 set to follow suit.

And there you have it, my top 10 LEGO sets for investing that are retiring at the end of 2023. Remember, investing in LEGO sets is not without risk, and there are no guarantees of a return. But if you’re a LEGO enthusiast and want to have fun while potentially making some profit down the line, these sets are definitely worth considering. Happy building and happy investing!
