Top 10 Retiring LEGO Sets for Investing in 2022

Subheading: Discover the Revised List: Top 10 LEGO Sets for Investing in 2022 from Youtuber- Jake’s Bricks

this set will be quite impressive. Moving on to my original number seven, the Titanic Lego set. Now, I have to admit, this set has been quite a disappointment in terms of investment potential. When I first included it in my top 10 list, I thought it would soar in value, but boy was I wrong. The price fluctuations, the lack of interest from collectors, and the sheer size of the set have all contributed to its underwhelming performance. So, I’m kicking it out of my updated list and replacing it with the Marvel Studios Collectible Minifigures Series. Now, hear me out. These minifigures are based on characters from popular Marvel movies, and we all know how crazy fans can get over anything Marvel-related. Plus, they’re blind-bagged, which adds an element of surprise and excitement for collectors. I’ve seen some sets go for double or even triple their original price on the secondary market, so I definitely think they’re worth a look. Moving on to my original number six, the Ecto-1 Ghostbusters Lego set. Now, this set has remained relatively stable in terms of value, but it hasn’t seen any major jumps or drops. So, while it’s still a good set to have in your collection, I’m replacing it with the Diagon Alley set from the Harry Potter theme. This set is absolutely stunning. It’s incredibly detailed and captures the magic of the wizarding world perfectly. Plus, it’s a modular set, which means you can rearrange the buildings to create your very own version of Diagon Alley. I believe this set has huge potential, especially considering its limited availability and the fact that it’s a fan-favorite location from the Harry Potter series. And now, on to my original number five, the Batman Cowl Helmet Bust. Now, this set has held its value quite well, but I think there’s another set that has even more potential. That set is the Elf Club House from the seasonal theme. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “An elf house? Really?” But hear me out. Seasonal sets have proven to be quite popular among collectors, and this one is no exception. It’s whimsical, festive, and captures the holiday spirit perfectly. Plus, it comes with a bunch of adorable elf minifigures. I believe this set will only increase in value as the years go by, especially around the holiday season. So, don’t sleep on it. And now, on to my original number four, the Nintendo Entertainment System Lego set. Now, this set has been a real hit among both Lego and Nintendo fans. Its unique design, nostalgic appeal, and the fact that it’s an official collaboration between two iconic brands make it a must-have for collectors. So, it’s definitely staying in my updated list. Now, on to my original number three, the Seinfeld Lego set. Now, this set has had its fair share of ups and downs in terms of value. It experienced a significant jump in price when it first retired, but has since cooled off a bit. However, I still believe it’s a solid investment option, especially considering the popularity of the sitcom and the fact that it’s a unique set that captures the essence of the show perfectly. So, it’s holding onto its spot in my updated list. Now, on to my original number two, the Daily Bugle Lego set. Now, this set has been an absolute beast in terms of value. It’s seen some massive jumps in price since its retirement, and I don’t see that trend slowing down anytime soon. So, it’s definitely keeping its spot in my updated list. And finally, on to my original number one, the Colosseum Lego set. Now, this set has been a mixed bag in terms of investment potential. While it’s a massive and impressive set, its high price point and limited appeal have prevented it from skyrocketing in value. So, I’m replacing it with the Ninjago City Gardens set. Now, this set is absolutely incredible. It’s packed with gorgeous details, unique building techniques, and nods to the Ninjago TV series. Plus, it’s a modular set, which means you can expand and customize it to your heart’s content. I believe this set has huge potential, especially among Ninjago fans and collectors. So, there you have it. My updated top 10 retiring Lego sets for investing in 2022. Remember, these rankings are based on the data available at the time of this video, so things may change. But hey, that’s part of the excitement of Lego investing. Happy building and investing, Lego fans!
