August is a special month for Lego and for those who have their eye on some new sets. We get treated with over 70 new sets that we know of. There may be some more that have not been revealed quite yet.

Rest assured that the new sets for August 2022 will please many fans, but it also comes at a price. We are now entering the price hikes that seem to be hitting all the stuff we enjoy.

Either way, we still some good value in some of the themes we all love. This month also marks the 90th anniversary of LEGO, so maybe there is some secret news to help celebrate as an extra treat that we haven’t heard at Lego Con 2022.

Investment Thoughts For The August 2022 Lego Releases

There were over 75 new Lego sets available for August 2022, so it can be so much to take in with this many Lego bricks. Where do we begin to even analyze a few sets over one another?

If I had to pick 3, I would go for the Disney Mini Haunted House (40521), LEGO BrickHeadz Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader (40547), and LEGO Speed Champions 007 Aston Martin DB5 (76911).
